Hello Free Spirits,
When at the Cottage Life Show I discovered this awesome cosmetic company (Soapstones products) from Muskoka, Ontario.
What drew me to their products was their lovely display at the Urban Rustic Living Booth!!It was love at first sight and I ended up ordering some products online a few days later. What I like about their products is that they are 100% natural and the scents are derived from essential oils.
Being the health junkie I am, I recently bought some cold pressed hemp seed oil to supplement my Omega 3 and 6, since I don’t eat meat. So I thought, “hey if ingesting hemp oil is great, then wouldn’t it be cool to use some hemp seed shampoo and conditioner”!? So with that logic I ordered the Healthy Hemp shampoo and conditioner . My health routine has to be well rounded after all 😉
For those that know me I am a huge fan of eating dried seaweed crisps. Sea-Snax are my favourite, and sea weed is loaded with Iodine which is great for thyroid health. So I decided to give the Sea weed exfoliating bar a shot. Not because I would eat it 😉 but because I have super dry skin that needs a little exfoliating once in a while. Oh and seaweed when applied to the body, draws excess fluid and waste products from the skin. Awesome!
Soapstones uses ethically sourced palm oil in their bars, which is soooooo important because the palm oil industry is linked to major issues such as deforestation and habitat loss.
You will never see me slathering on a chemical concoction on my skin. There are so many great and natural products out there so why settle for the chemical stuff? Follow me on all my social sites to stay updated about awesome new natural, local and ethical products.
Have a great day my Free Spirits!
Love, Nicole N
