And there is a private prayer room/chapel for those wishing to have a moment of silence in prayer. 12650359_10156455278945514_1350818537_n

On the left side of the Basilique you will find a holy door which is so far the only holy door opened outside of Europe. On April, 2015, Pope Francis announced a Holy Year/Jubilee. During this time December 12 2015 until November 20 2016, dioceses from across the world will be invited to organize pastoral activities related to mercy.

Overall Rating:

  • This church is in a great location and can be easily included on route to the Chateau Frontenac, and into Lower Old Town Quebec City.
  • A Must See when Visiting Quebec City!
