Paillard in Quebec city

Located a few steps from the St.Jean fortified gate along the famous Rue Saint Jean, “Paillard” is the place to go to when feeling hungry! They feature a variety of fresh baked goods daily some including fresh  breads, danishes, cookies and much much more! It is so exciting walking in because not only does it smell amazing but you get to try a lot because of their decent prices!

For me Paillard is the go to stop for their breakfast where I always get their warm sandwich croissant combo which includes egg, ham and cheese. With the combo I get a side of coffee or tea as well as a small bowl of fruit on the side! All for around $10
Everything is fresh and the croissants are to die for if you go early in the morning like I do you can get them fresh out the oven!

Another one of my favourites is their macaroons! They are delicious and there are so many flavours to choose from!

There is plenty of space to sit inside on those rainy or cold days or you can sit outside on their street patio and watch the happy tourist walk along one of the coolest streets in Quebec!
Outside is the best side 😉
